In 1873, the tower of Royal castle was reconditioned. Photographer Conrad Brandel took a complete, 360 degrees panorama of the town from a scaffoldfing. In 1875, the stitched panorama was printed in Warsaw newspaper Klosy, as a 2.88 meters long insert, prepared by Adolf Kozarski.

Computer projection of original panorama (printed 1875), is made from 4 scanned and digitalized partial panorama diapositives, from the collection of Documentation Department of National Museum in Warsaw, by Jacek Gancarczyk, 2002
